Would love to get to one of your classes, bride and groom especially. The figures on your website are just fabulous. Hope you get to Dublin (Ire) someday soon. Thanks a mil for all the how to videos too. They are an inspiration!

  19. I just want to thank you for your tutorial on making the fondant dog. Fondant has scared me and I am so in awe of the creations you make. I only make cakes for my children and hubby and my 2 yr old who's birthday is today absolutely loves dogs. I followed your tutorial on youtube word for word and paused it a lot and I amazed myself that I was actually able to make it and it look like it was supposed to. So thank you again for making me less scared of making figures and will be making more in the future. My family and friends loved the cake and the dog. I have been telling everyone how wonderful your cakes are and how easy I was able to follow the video.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart

  21. Hi Lorraine, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I made my friend a bithday cake and used one of your topper tutorials (girl reading a book). Everybody commented how fantastic the cake looked. As a novice to sugarcraft, I could never have dreamed of making something that looks so cool. Your clear photographs of every step in the making of the topper made the tutorial idiot proof. I am so glad I bought it and look forward to see what you bring out in the future.
    Kind regards

Thank you so much for sharing your techniques with all of us!!!

I have a few of your tutorials purchased and waiting for me to do. I was wondering if there is also a video version of them that I can watch as I go through your written one. ?
Your written tutorials are awesome but I do best with a combo of both written and video.

Hoping you'll come to BC Canada one day!

I have a list of places where I will be throughout the year and to date there are no plans to visit Wales. That's not to say that I wouldn't love to visit and would certainly consider any invitations that came my way. However, I am now taking bookings for 2011 as 2010 calendar is done and dusted as they say. How fabulous is that?? If you would like to see me in London, don't hesitate to book a place. I'd love to see you there. AND don't forget me at home in Scotland too. I have so many overseas visitors coming to Scotland just for a class and I absolutely love it. I'm looking forward to a busy 2010 and to meeting many of you for the first time and a lot of you for the umpteenth time!! Cheers!

  60. Thank you so much for your tutorials! My oldest son has many allergies so now I either have to make things myself or pay small fortunes for even the most basic of cakes. So when my youngest was turning one we had a monkey theme. I was going to make two cakes one my oldest could eat and then the main cake for the event. But after finding marshmallow fondant I was able to make that then searched for a how to on you tube and yours came up. It was so easy to follow and my figures turned out great for my first ever attempt at fondant anything, your teddy bear tutorial allowed me to make bodies on my monkies as well. Everyone loved the cake and I was so happy to have found your easy tutorial that allowed me to relax and have my son be able to enjoy a pretty cool birthday cake for the first time in his four year life! I will be purchasing a few of your tutorials here as well. Your people are amazing, grooms unbelieveable and brides absolutely beautiful! I only wish I were close by so I could attend your workshop in October. I really just want to thank you, I cried when I found my son could feel normal at a birthday party and enjoy the same cake everyone else was enjoying!

i have been making traditional cakes for years for family and friends, but after checking out your website, I have started to make sugarpaste figures, I have to say of all the sites I have visited, your work is exceptional, the figures are so lifelike, and the quirkiness of some of the characters are wonderful, I will be buying all your tutorials, you will have to get your demonstrations on dvd, that would be amazing, look forward to more tutorials to come, it would be great that in one of them you could show us how to do the lovley hair on some of your figures.

I am also on Cake Central and love decorating cakes and cookies and cupcakes and also looking at all of the other exceptional cake decorating. Again, can't wait for the future of decorating with your tutorials. Do you ever visit Canada, the west coast, namely Victoria, British Columbia???

  88. I just wanted to thank you for your tutorials, you are so talented. I am planning a trip to Scottland July 2009 if all goes well. I was wondering if you have classes, how much are they and where are they held? I love playing with fondant and would love to have a skill that we dont have in my small town. LOL. I am also on cake central and love looking at all the different pictures. I am very new at cake decorating and love to be creative. I am Dustybrooke1 on cake central.
Thank you again for sharing your talent.
